To our Overture Advertisers and Friends, 

After careful analysis of the continued impacts of Coronavirus, the trustees of Brevard Music Center have unanimously voted to cancel their renowned Summer Music Festival in 2020. A premier national training program for young musicians, the Music Center is also cancelling all educational programming during the summer of 2020. Brevard Music Center’s first priority is the health and safety of its students, faculty, patrons, staff, and the entire Brevard community. While we will so miss the magic and inspiration of their music this summer, we deeply appreciate their care and consideration for us all.

As a result of these unforeseen events, production of the Music Center’s wonderful Overture program has also been cancelled. On behalf of the Brevard Music Center, we have been so very grateful for your commitment and support of Overture 2020. Over the next two weeks, Market Connections will be refunding all payments that have already been collected, whether by check or credit card. Please watch your mail and credit card statements for these returns. If you have not already, please do not pay any existing invoices.

His heartfelt words share forward the Music Center’s dedication to the health and well-being of its family, community and supporters.
